  • A referral is not essential, however if you have a complex medical history your general practitioner can provide valuable medical information which helps us plan your care. A referral will also enable you to access maximum medicare rebates for your appointment. To reduce barriers to accessing specialist care, we are happy to discuss your individual circumstances and decide whether a referral is necessary.

  • A patient-centred approach is essential for safe, high quality health care. It is care that respects and responds to the preferences, needs and values of patients and and treats each person as an individual.

  • At Redlands Gynaecology we offer a range of bespoke pain relief options including enotonox (gas/air) and local anaesthetic injections.

  • Some Saturday morning appointments are available.

  • As a subspecialist in sexual & reproductive health, Dr Melville has additional qualifications and expertise in family planning and contraception and can discuss suitable options tailored to your needs.

  • We don’t currently offer this service but there are other services in the Redlands and beyond that can provide this procedure.

  • Redlands Gynaecology is an outpatient gynaecology service specialising in medical management of reproductive health conditions and concerns. Minor surgical procedures can often be done in the clinic, however we do not offer day hospital or inpatient surgical care.

    All referrals are vetted to ensure that patients attend the most suitable service for their needs. If you require or request surgery we will refer you to an appropriate clinician for surgical care.
