Dr Catriona Melville is a specialist gynaecologist with over 20 years experience in providing patient-centred care. Catriona trained in Scotland and therefore has a unique double qualification as a subspecialist in sexual and reproductive health (SRH) from the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG London, UK).

Catriona’s clinical interests include complex contraception, menopause and pregnancy options management. Catriona is passionate about advocacy, education and clinical research. She has authored a medical textbook (Sexual & Reproductive Health at a Glance, Wiley-Blackwell) and is widely published. Catriona is an Associate Editor for The Australian and New Zealand Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ANZJOG) and Deputy Chair of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) SRH committee.

When not at work Catriona is an enthusiastic trail and (sometimes) ultramarathon runner and enjoys hanging out with her family and dalmatian dog.
